The encounter was temporarily halted in the 86th minute as a torrential downpour left the playing surface unfit for football. Following a brief delay, play resumed, and Hephzibah professionally saw out the remaining minutes to claim all three points.
The breakthrough came in the 45th minute, with Kabiru Sodiq giving Hephzibah the lead. The goal followed a brilliant attacking move down the left flank, where the winger dribbled past two defenders before unleashing a shot that led to Kabiru's composed finish.
Hephzibah doubled their advantage in the second half through Okoro Innocent, whose well-taken finish put the game beyond Ablaze FC and capped another impressive team performance.
